DIRECTOR OF BANDS
Timothy Grant is the Director of Bands at TC Williams High School. His teaching responsibilities include directing the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Marching Titans and Percussion Ensemble. In addition, Mr. Grant co-teaches the Symphonic Band. Prior to his appointment at TC Williams, he taught for Fairfax County Public Schools. Mr. Grant earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in music education from Penn State University. While at Penn State, Mr. Grant served as a graduate assistant and worked with the Penn State Marching Blue Band, Volleyball Band, Basketball Band, and Hockey Band.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF BANDS & JAZZ STUDIES
Doug Rogers is the Associate Director of Bands, and Director of Jazz Studies at TC Williams High School. His teaching responsibilities include directing the Jazz Program (Two Jazz Bands and a Jazz Combo) Symphonic Band, co-teaching Concert Band, and the Marching Titans. Prior to his appointment to TC Williams, Mr. Rogers taught various elementary schools in ACPS since 2000. He has teaching experience in Tennessee, Texas, and California. Mr. Rogers has taught the ACPS summer music program for several years. This year, he will be the director for the All-City Band. Mr. Rogers holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University and The University of North Texas. He has done DMA work at Catholic University. Mr. Rogers is an active performer in the DMV, performing regularly with The Symphony of the Potomac, Dominion Brass, The Olney Big Band, Big Band Tradition, Difficult Run Jazz Band, and the Vaughn Ambrose Big Band.
